Flooring Replacement and Moisture Intrusion Repairs

This project redefined the main living area with a high-end white oak flooring installation that feels both refined and cohesive with the rest of the home. After removing the existing carpet, we corrected variations in the framing by leveling the floor joists and installing new tongue-and-groove subflooring to create a solid, consistent base. The new white oak floors were installed and finished onsite, allowing us to carefully match the tone and character of the home’s original wood flooring.

As part of the work, we repaired interior areas impacted by prior moisture exposure, including replacing sections of drywall and trim along exterior walls. To address the root cause, we removed sections of stucco and outdated flashing on the exterior and installed a modern waterproofing system designed to properly manage water and protect the structure moving forward.

We also made targeted HVAC and minor structural modifications to improve airflow and accommodate updated ventilation needs in the main living space. The finished result is a well-executed upgrade that not only enhances the aesthetic of the home but also improves its durability and overall performance.
